Feature & Follow Friday #6

Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. The purpose of this blog hop is meet new people, gain new followers, and find cool new blogs to follow yourself!!

This week's question is:

It is up to you to do a Kickstarter campaign for your favorite book!!! Who are you casting for the main characters?

Well, my favorite book series by far is the Divergent trilogy. I don't know what it is about that series, but I just love it. The first book was written when the author, Veronica Roth, was 21 and a senior in college. I'm 22 and it's my dream to publish a book. I look up to her so much for that very reason. As for the casting of the main characters? Well, as most people already know, the first film has already been filmed. I'm very passionate about this series so I want it to be done very well. So far, from what I've seen, I'm pretty pleased. But of course, the images in my head will always be how I prefer it, but I have a feeling that the movie is going to rock!!!

  5. I can't wait for Divergent either! I really hope they don't screw up. At first I was iffy about Theo James as Four, but I think he'll be alright

  13. I admire young authors too, like Alexandra Bracken and Tahereh Mafi (as I'm an aspiring author myself).

The Divergent movie looks awesome. I'm glad they've cast really good actors.

  15. Great choice. I always cringe a bit when I find out a favorite book is going to be a movie...how close are the actors going to come to what's in my head? Thanks for stopping by and following you back on Bloglovin'

  16. I am SO excited for Divergent <3

I had my doubts about Shailene because I didn't like her character much in The Secret Life but that's possibly because she's such an amazing actress. I really liked the way she reacted and her expression from the knife throwing scene. Also, THEO JAMES? OMG *fans self* I love that voice, he's so manly.

Thanks for stopping by my blog and I followed back via Bloglovin (:

  17. It is SO scary to watch your favorite books being turned into movies, so I hope for your sake that Divergent turns out well. It'a awesome that you dream to publish a book, and best of luck with getting it done! I can see why looking up to Roth would make you even more emotionally attached to her series, but with all the talented people working to produce the movie, I'm sure everything will turn out okay.

  18. I look forward to the Divergent movies. I'd like to be a published author someday too, so it is really inspiring that Veronica Roth wrote the first book when she was just 21. Have you ever read anything by Kat Zhang? She wrote her first book (which is published by HaperTeen) when she was just 19. Wow.
